Common questions
What kind of tasks can actually be automated?
Repetitive, rule-based work is the best candidate — moving data between systems, generating documents or reports, routing enquiries, syncing records. If a person follows the same steps each time, it can usually be automated.
Will it work with the tools I already use?
Usually, if those tools offer an API or export. I'll check what's possible with your specific stack before committing to an approach.
Do I need to replace my current software?
Not necessarily. Often the better path is to connect and automate what you already have, rather than rip it out.
Is an automated system safe and reliable?
I build in checks and testing, and I'm clear that no software is guaranteed error-free — so business-critical outputs should still be reviewed and backed up. I'll set expectations honestly for your case.
Who owns the code you build?
The bespoke work built for you transfers to you on full payment. Reusable building blocks and methods stay mine, with a licence for you to keep using them as part of your deliverable — the details are in my Service Terms.
